About Small Business Concerns

Small Business Concerns began business in 1981 in order to provide technical assistance to Not-For-Profit organizations and to private businesses doing business in the public sector. Over the years since that time, the business has broadened to include training and accounting services to individuals, small businesses, and associations.

Mary Hinkley

SBC provides a variety of bookkeeping and financial servicesMary Hinkley is the owner of Small Business Concerns. Prior to starting SBC, Mary was the Program Coordinator for Behavior Analysis Research Associates, Inc. and the Leon Association for Retarded Citizens, Inc. It was her responsibility to write and administer grants for the agency and oversee the financial operations in conjunction with the Executive Director. Mary held this position for five years. She holds a Masters Degree in Education and while working on graduate work completed the course work for a minor in business administration. She is a certified QuickBooks® Professional Advisor and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. Her unique background is an asset in working with customers to help them design and implement accounting systems that meet their individual needs.


Donna Jo Gyuricsko

SBC provides a variety of bookkeeping and financial services Donna Jo Gyuricsko is the office manager and the person who keeps the SBC office organized. She lived and worked in Alaska for many years and returned to Tallahassee about four years ago. She has 30 plus years of bookkeeping and office experience. She has worked on projects ranging from $200 to $3.5 million. She is familiar with most areas of bookkeeping, but has special strength in construction related projects. Her attention to detail and high standards keep us all on our toes.
