Small Business Concerns

ABOUT

Small Business Concerns began business in 1981 in order to provide technical assistance to Not-For-Profit organizations and to private businesses doing business in the public sector. Over the years since that time, the business has broadened to include training and accounting services to individuals, small businesses, and associations.

Elisabeth Sheats
Elisabeth is the owner of Small Business Concerns, having purchased the business when the founder, Mary Hinkley, officially retired. Originally trained as an actuary, Elisabeth entered the bookkeeping field professionally in 2008, working as an independent contractor for businesses of several different types. Her actuarial experience gives her exceptional problem-solving skills and MS Excel & VB programming abilities in addition to her advanced mathematical training. Always looking for new ways to make processes more efficient, Elisabeth excels in developing time-saving processes and techniques. Elisabeth has been a QuickBooks Certified Pro-Advisor for both desktop and online versions of QuickBooks since 2012 and continues to renew that certification with each new update to the QuickBooks software family. In her spare time, Elisabeth enjoys handcrafts, baking, and writing.

Rebecca Tillotson
Rebecca began working with Small Business Concerns in February of 2015, and is the resident office jack-of-all-trades. She hails from the greater Tallahassee/Monticello area but enjoyed a few years in Greenville, SC, where she graduated from Greenville Technical College in October of 2013. In the fall of 2014, Rebecca moved back to Tallahassee and married Aaron, a local CPA. Outside the office, Rebecca enjoys trying out new recipes and running.

Mary Hinkley
